At Quinta do Rapozinho, daily life follows the rhythm of the land. Feed the animals, pick fruit from the orchard, bake bread in the wood-fired oven, or simply sit under the giant eucalyptus and watch the valley below. This is not a show — it's how we live.

When the sun climbs high, the pool and its long valley view are exactly where you want to be.

Once a week the local growers fill the square with just-picked vegetables. Go early, go hungry.

Cook in your own full kitchen, let us deliver a meal to the house, or find a favourite tasca nearby.

Walk to the waterfalls
Trails lead from the gate to hidden waterfalls, old watermills and clear, cold bathing pools.

Pull a few weeds, pick what's ripe, and carry dinner's vegetables straight from our organic horta.

Walk our thirty cows home as the light turns gold, then taste your way across Portugal with us, glass by glass.

With no city for miles, the day ends the only way it can — heads tipped back at a sky full of stars.
The houses
Our houses
The old dwellings of a farm in Minho are spread across 100 meters. Our houses were restored by the owners who held to the characteristics of the region and recycled materials and furniture.
They book a few nights and come back for years. “A second home,” they tell us — and after a while, it simply is.

Our little house was lovely and cosy, more than we expected — we liked everything, even the price.
Excellent care in the surroundings and the houses — beautiful decoration, fantastic equipment, large and wonderfully comfortable.
